The Best E-Newsletters for Writers

Online resources and free newsletters abound for the writer today--so many that at times I find my in-box flooded with an excess of helpful advice. I tend to subscribe to free newsletters quickly and unsubscribe just as quickly. Here are five "keepers":

• Writer's Digest offers a free newsletter with snippets of market info, articles, and creativity boosters. http://www.writersdigest.com/newsletter.asp


• The Write4Kids web site is chock-full of market and writing craft information. They offer a monthly newsletter that previews some of the information found in their subscription publication The Children's Book Insider. • Newswise (http://www.newswise.com/support/register/) provides press releases in a variety of research fields--a great resource for nonfiction article ideas.
